Mon Viet definitely serves up some tasty Vietnamese food. We ordered the steak, sausage, and egg banh mi, grilled pork vermicelli, and an order of spring rolls. About 5 minutes after ordering, the server brought out a sizzling plate of steak. I thought to myself, "Wow! That was fast!" A few minutes later, the server walked up and said that actually wasn't ours, and walked it over to another table. Thankfully, I hadn't touched it because it was still sizzling. To me, that move didn't seem very sanitary. A few minutes later, we had our spring rolls.
The spring rolls were definitely delicious. They brought out 2 things of peanut sauce, and we used all of it! I'd highly recommend ordering them at $5.50. Our main dishes followed. The steak comes out still sizzling and is served deconstructed. They provide a plate of the fixings and a warm baguette. The flavor for both dishes were very good.
If you're trying to choose whether to eat in the food court or here, go here! -

Had to wait an hour for spring rolls and my rice dish. I see people coming in after me and getting their food before I did. Poor service as well, didn't refill our water jugs on the table or didn't ask us if we need anything. I don't plan on coming back to this restaurant. Food is good but not worth the wait for an hour. Hope they can get this fixed.
Also wouldn't recommend this place because of how poor the service is here. -

I always come here when I'm craving a simple but hearty breakfast! I get the banh mi bit tet op la that comes with sunny egg, Chinese sausage, filet steak, bread, spread for bread and also a small salad. The whole meal itself satisfies me and I finish it off either with a salted lemonade soda or a reg pink lemonade! Knocked off a star for poor service since our waiter seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but there

Great food and fast service, just a little over priced. Everything tasted like childhood! We ordered:
Com Suon Non Kho To (Caramelized spare pork ribs in a clay pot)-- spare pork ribs were flavorful!
Pho Filet Mignon and meatballs --perfect on those cold days.
Banh Mi Bit Tet Op La (Filet Mignon steak, sausage, and over easy eggs) -- perfect brunch food. Love how you can make it own
Com Ca Chien Nuoc Nam Gung (Deep fried fish filet topped with spicy ginger fish sauce) -- VERY disappointing and not worth the price. You get a teeny tiny fried fish.
Overall, great food!!
